Inthy Deuansavan, one of the Xayoh partners recalls, “at the beginning I conducted a thorough research into the restaurant business and with my partner, Phongsavanh Keolakon, we discussed the opportunities, market forcast and our visions. We agreed that we would aim to provide a fusion of Lao-Asian-Euro cuisine in a comtemporary style dinning atmosphere.”
June 21, 2001 was the grand opening of Xayoh in Vientiane. That same year, a second restaurant, called Xayoh Downtown, a mirror image of Xayho Vientiane opened in Vang Vieng.
